Dr. Kwan was born and raised in Canada and completed her undergraduate studies in Canada. She earned her optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry, in Chicago, Illinois. During her studies, she has served the Chicago community by participating in various vision screenings, and assisted in patient care with VOSH international. Providing care to people in Mexico with limited access to eye care, and screening patients with advanced eye diseases and require more advance care.
As an optometrist, Dr. Kwan’s clinical interests includes fitting specialty contact lenses, pediatric eye care, co-management of cataract, and managing ocular diseases ranging from glaucoma, dry eyes and macular degeneration. She is dedicated to staying up to date with latest research and current advances in the eye health and vision care by attending various conferences and training courses.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog.
